Are there Different Kinds of Audits?

Yes, dependent on the investment of time, effort and money you are willing to spend, you may choose to perform a full audit, an overview, select sections, or set limitations.  Your ability to integrate and implement changes as well as face critical business needs should be considered when selecting the audit criteria.  It should be noted that regardless your selection, there will be areas of overlap and items included that may not appear in the lists below.

Unless a full audit is performed or financial analysis specifically requested, the financial is treated as an overview.  Full financial audits should be performed through your accounting resource.  The time necessary to perform the audit will depend on the size of the organization, availability of the team and interviewees, areas audited and the depth of the audit.

You will find a full listing and descriptions in the navigation bar at the left.
